I was thinking about titling this post “Mercury Rising” initially, but in the end “Hot hot hot” won out because – no offense to Sting – the Cure song just seems catchier to me.
Anyway, the weekend definitely was a warm one. We took Cyrus out to his first picnic on Saturday. It was so fun seeing him interact with all of his cousins. I can’t wait for our little guy to grow up a little more so that he can run around with all of the other kids.
Eunice called me this morning with fantastic news. Congratulations, Ewey! She’s expecting her second kid. If my calculations are correct, her next one will be born sometime in October.
