So Cyrus’ birthday isn’t until tomorrow, but I figured I’d get a jump start and give a shout out to the little tyke a day early. Happy Birthday baby!

And finally, I heard in a recent NPR news program that keyboarding is trumping handwriting lessons at some schools now. That seems so sad to me. Both are important skills, and it’s unfortunate that teachers – due to time constraints, budget cuts, etc. – need to choose one over the other.
